Nivara (also referred to as "Notebook Wars") is operated by Tao Wang, an independent sole trader (not an incorporated company) based in Germany, reachable at support@gamestao.com (the "developer", "we", or "us"). By accessing or playing Nivara, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
You must be at least 13 years old to use the service. If you are under 18, you must have consent from a parent or legal guardian.
The game offers purchasable virtual currency ("Coins") redeemable for in-game items such as cosmetics and loot boxes. Coins have no real-world monetary value, are non-transferable, and cannot be exchanged for cash or any real-world goods or services.
Purchases made on the web are sold by Paddle.com Market Limited as Merchant of Record. Purchases made inside the iOS app are sold by Apple through In-App Purchase, and your billing relationship for those is with Apple.
All purchases are final. Please see our Refund Policy for limited exceptions, and note that refunds for App Store purchases are requested from Apple.
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue virtual items or currency at any time.
Some in-game items are obtained through randomised loot boxes purchased with Coins. Pity guarantees are applied server-side and disclosed in-game. Purchasing Coins or loot boxes does not guarantee any specific outcome.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. We are not liable for any loss resulting from unauthorised access to your account.
You agree not to: cheat, exploit bugs, use automation tools, reverse-engineer the game, or engage in conduct that harms other players or the service.
All game content — including art, music, code, and text — is owned by the developer and protected by copyright law. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive licence to play the game for personal, non-commercial purposes.
The service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.
These terms are governed by the laws of Germany. Any disputes shall be resolved in the competent courts of Germany.
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
